The City of Madison provides service to the general public, occupational license applicants, and each existing licensee. Our objective is to assist applicants in obtaining the proper occupational license and to ensure compliance of all businesses with the City’s occupational license ordinances.
Specifically, the City of Madison issues occupational license applications, answers inquiries for and about existing licensees, assists applicants in the completion of their application and follow-up on the approval and issuance of license certificates.
