Professional Engineering Services

The City of Madison, Florida, is soliciting proposals from qualified individuals or firms to provide professional engineering services for various municipal projects under a ‘continuing contract’, as such term is defined in Section 287.055(2)(g), Florida Statutes. The City expects to establish a continuing contract with one or more qualified individuals or firms. The continuing contract(s) negotiated as a result of this request will be non-exclusive and shall give the City the right, but not the obligation, to use any such firm(s) under continuing contract for any particular project or part of project. Award of a continuing contract does not guarantee that a firm will be employed on a regular basis nor does it guarantee a minimum number of tasks or minimum compensation. The City may, from time to time, issue separate requests for proposals and enter into separate contracts for the performance of services which are similar or identical to the services indicated in this request. All such actions shall be subject to the sole discretion of the City.
